On this Expert Views Page you will find professionals involved with mental health

I’m always pleased to meet people who have chosen to work in the field of Mental Health. For me it shows compassion for others plus a strong personal character. Problem solving, decision making, a calm manner, consistency, commitment, and a flexible nature are just a few of the qualities a mental health worker must display.

Advocate-rs who make a stand for the rights of people suffering from mental illness; those who dedicate their lives to the challenges and struggles many mentally disabled adults and children endure; others who work diligently side by side with the mentally disabled offering support with social and/or personal problems; plus mental health practitioners, special needs educators, social workers, and care givers to the mentally disabled, and more. are all necessary components in the realm of mental health.

That’s one reason why I included this PAGE on my website. To hear what others have to say about their own experiences with people with mental disabilities is always interesting and informative. Please click on the names of mental health contributors to read their stories.
